Join us for a series of workshops led by Nationally Renowned Pilates Master Teachers Michael Fritzke and Ton Voogt of Zenirgy, LLC. These workshops are designed to enhance your Pilates instruction with new and innovative techniques. Workshops are open to any Certified Pilates Instructors and will be held either at Pilates by Fitness Solutions or Premier Pilates of Scottsdale. It can be hard to keep your classes new and fresh. In reaction to this, we often add exercises, variations and transitions. But is your choreography functional? In this workshop, you will experience transitions, connections and modifications and build ups that are both functional and fun, yet maintain the spirit of the Pilates method that you can implement right away.
The Cadillac and the way we use it has evolved. More and more group classes incorporate the Wall unit. Creating flow of movement using the equipment is one of the biggest challenges during these kinds of classes. Discover how you can combine and link exercises to address the most common needs in your classes. Utilizing their knowledge and experience of the numerous exercises and variations taught by Joseph Pilates and his protégés, Michael and Ton created exercise combinations that are functional, safe and effective. Walk away with an extensive exercise library that you can use next week.
Props! We all love them. They are the silent instructor that teaches the body directly. In this workshop, we will cover the functionality of some of the most used Pilates props and how you can make them your teaching tool. We will look at the function, benefits and challenges of introducing and using these props safely and effectively in your workouts and classes.
Pelvic mobility and stability is a crucial link in connecting the lower extremities to the
powerhouse. Issues in this link can create all kinds of problems, like sciatica pain, low backpain, hip misalignments, etc. In this workshop, we will look at the pelvic girdle and explore how we as Pilates instructors can address the most common pelvic issues.Please Note:
